Modern guide for an effective CV
Published: 4th May 2017
The first question most people ask themselves when writing a new CV is 'How long should it be?' Although this is still a sensible aspect to plan, the first question that should be asked is 'What impact does the front page of my CV have?'
The largest response of applications we had to a single advert in 2016 was 664 with campaigns for some senior manager and director positions attracting over 200 CVs. Making your CV leap off the page and grab the attention of the reader more than the others clearly provides that candidate with an advantage.
Modern CVS should deliver impact, highlight relevant strengths & experience and use colour and titles to make them flow. Our guide for Senior Manager CVs is available on our website (click here) or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to request a copy.
