Writing a senior CV
Differentiating yourself in a crowded market
A CV is a vehicle to articulate past achievements, accomplishments and credentials, as well as conveying your personal brand to a potential new organisation. The CV is potentially the first touch point that the organisation might have with an applicant, so, it is imperative that it conveys you as a genuine contender who is more than capable of adding value.
Many senior candidates tend to submit a huge list of historical roles, activities and career details that they believe are crucial to the role. The problem is that most of the other 100 applicants will have done the same and the reader only has a short time, sometimes just a minute or two, to make an initial judgement about who they want to see.
