An opportunity has arisen for a Payroller to join this excellent employer of choice in Lancaster on a 6 month fixed term contract basis. The business have a fantastic working environment, very low staff turnover and have an excellent reputation, internally and externally.
This 6 month fixed term contract role is within the payroll team and will get involved in all areas of monthly and weekly payroll. From inputting payroll data, processing documents and resolving employee queries to pension administration and deputising for the Team Leader, this is an all-encompassing payroll position within an friendly and hard-working team. Following the payroll cycle, you will complete all reconciliations work, general ledger postings and reports as well as complete statutory returns.
To apply for this role you must have recent payroll experience and be able to manage both weekly and monthly payrolls. The ability to calculate statutory payments is also required, as well as exposure to administration of multiple pension schemes. You will be an excellent communicator, able to effectively deal with employee queries and have the ability to perform the month end routine and associated reports.
