The Finance Manager/Business Partner role supports the business in a number of areas. You will be responsible for producing a full set of management accounts on a monthly basis including all associated reports. With an analytical nature, you will be producing reports and providing insightful commentary to assist business decisions as well as managing budgets, forecasting, balance sheet reconciliation and cashflow. Alongside this, you will be an adaptable and approachable business partner, liaising with non-finance colleagues and stakeholders of all levels, explaining the numbers and driving efficiencies. You will have the opportunity to become a pivotal part of the business growth, working closely with operations rolling out your own ideas and plans to drive the business forward. This is a stand alone role as the number one in finance on site, creating a link between the site and group finance.
This role is open to applications from candidates who are either qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA or QBE/Stopped-Studiers with strong, well-rounded experience of operating in a commercial finance role within the manufacturing industry. This role would also suit a Cost Accountant or Management Accountant with extensive manufacturing sector knowledge looking for a step into a business partnering role. You will be technically capable and comfortable producing monthly management accounts and all associated reports and analysis as well as having first-class communication skills and the ability to communicate about financial topics to non-finance colleagues. A strong leader, you will have the ability to lead cohesive working, spanning finance and operations. Alongside this, you will be very capable with IT systems and have the ability to utilise an ERP system to produce accurate reports and reconcile data. Experience of NetSuite would be a distinct advantage.
