Rotherham Hospice are an independent charity that place that patient and families at the heart of everything that they do. The hospice cares and supports adults with compassion and dignity providing a caring, respectful cohesive package to the people of Rotherham at one of the most challenging times of their life.
As you would expect this past year has been challenging as every year the hospice needs £5 million to deliver first class services, the majority of this gained through fundraising and the generosity of the people and business of Rotherham and the surrounding area, we are looking for Trustees who can add value to the existing board as the Hospice moves forward.
Rotherham Hospice are recruiting a number of Trustees to its Board who will be able to contribute to its continued success. The Trustees will ‘Challenge and support’ the Exec team and offer strategic guidance ensuring that the Values and Aims of the Hospice remain at the heart of any decisions made.
We are interested in hearing from candidates within any field but particularly Clinical and Marketing.
As a Trustee you will be expected to attend 4 board meeting per year along with 4 Sub Committee meetings and attend some of the events hosted by Rotherham Hospice.
Rotherham Hospice are happy to look at candidates looking for their first Trustee role as support will be given, this is truly a superb role for someone to add value to the Hospice and the patients that it cares for as well be personally rewarded by seeing the value that your contribution has to the Hospice.
You will ideally operate at a strategic level and have the ability to converse at all levels internally and externally.
