The company

Brewster Partners are delighted to be supporting a National online business to recruit an FP&A Manager to join the finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join the company at an exciting and pivotal time.  The role is offered on a hybrid basis with the expectation that you will be in the office 1 day a week.

The job

The FP&A Manager will be responsible for the month end close process and Budgeting and Forecasting for revenue within the business.

Reporting to the FD, you will be responsible for the month end close process, monthly re forecast, annual budget, and weekly run rate submission including risks and opportunities.

You will be working alongside the business and finance teams to create a robust and well understood revenue forecasting models with good articulation of drivers resulting in any variances.

Duties will include:

  • Deliver the month end close including revenue recognition and reporting for Revenue and Bad Debts – including all commentary clearly articulating drivers for revenue variance
  • Deliver the weekly revenue forecast – identifying risks and opportunities and gaps to the forecast
  • Deliver the quarterly forecast and annual budget – includes ownership of the rolling forecast for Onsite and Advertising
  • Business Partner with key stakeholders across Sales, Operations and Commercial
  • Assist on defining new month process as the business transitions from SAP to NetSuite
  • Liaising with auditors on revenue related queries, approving invoices and credit note batches, raising ad hoc invoices, and processing quarterly commissions

The person

You will be a qualified accountant with proven financial and management skills in a fast paced company, ideally with experience of subscription revenue and advertising revenue.

You will ideally have experience of using SAP – BW, BPC, AAE and NetSuite along with strong Financial Modelling experience and advanced excel and ideally SQL experience of running queries.

This role will liaise with other departments therefore internal and external stakeholder management will be required alongside superb communication skills and the ability to build relationships.

The company is fast moving and the ability to prioritise and think on your feet as well as a positive ‘can do’ disposition will be essential.
