Procurement Manager in Harrogate required for a successful, national facilities management company. The business are unique and a specialist in their field. Due to the businesses continued growth and development, a new role as Procurement Manager has been created managing an existing team of 3 procurement coordinators. This role will offer hybrid working but people must be available to travel into the Harrogate office at least a couple of times a week. People living in North Leeds, Wetherby, Knaresbrough, Ripon, Skipton and surrounding areas would be ideally located for this role.
Leading direct and indirect supply chain and procurement activities, including purchasing of energy, cleaning products, office equipment and day to day consumables.
As Procurement Manager you will lead all the procurement activities driving the best possible commercial terms for the businesses national contracts. You will develop you team and the procurement strategy for the business. Building strong relationships with an expertly procured supplier network, they will deliver value to all end users, not just in terms of cost but also in terms of service and quality.
- Ideally CIPS qualified / part qualified or similar
- Strong commercial acumen
- Well developed interpersonal skills to ability to work with internal and external stakeholders, during a period of immense change and growth across the business.
