The company

Brewster Partners are working with an exciting company who have recently gone through rapid growth and as a result they are looking to expand their finance team with a Financial Administrator.

The Financial administrator will perform a variety of administrative and financial tasks to support the effective working and growth of the Finance team. Their key role will be the strategy and planning for financial goals by working daily to achieve and maintain the financial health of our organisation. Whilst supporting the department to achieve key objectives.

The job

  • Create and update spreadsheets of daily transactions
  • Review and process reimbursements
  • Prepare budgets
  • Maintain reports on financial metrics, including investments, return on assets and growth rates
  • Keep records of invoices and tax payments
  • Identify and address account discrepancies
  • Develop and maintain financial analysis and reporting activities for organisation
  • Prepare finance reports and account reconciliation reports
  • Prepare tax documents for timely filing of company tax
  • Assist in managing account payable and receivable activities
  • Support financial audit processes
  • Coordinate with finance and HR teams in preparation of financial reports and statements
  • Administer required payroll activities as well as oversee vendor payments etc
  • Prepare finance reports and account reconciliation reports
  • Manage all bill payments and customer invoicing as per the deadlines
  • Streamline processes and procedures for improving operational efficiency of finance
  • Maintain all financial records and files as per the company policies

The person

  • AAT qualified, with experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and payroll
  • Well organised with good time management
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Teamwork and excellent communication
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages- Excel
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Data entry skills
  • Understanding of Financial Reconciling would be advantageous but again not essential
