Management Accountant

We are supporting a global business based in Hull to appoint a Management Accountant to the growing finance team. The company have had record breaking months and predict to continue to grow breaking in to new markets worldwide. The job

• Analysing the reporting systems across the different subsidiaries
• Supporting the Finance Manager in production of monthly Management Accounts
• Preparation of month end journals including accruals and prepayments.
• Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register.
• Assist in production of monthly Sales Reports.
• Assist the Group Accountant in the preparation of rebate accruals.
• Working alongside of the finance manager with the year-end reporting and the annual audit.
• Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts
• Undertake stock reconciliations and prepare monthly stock reports.
• Involvement in the ordering process for spare parts.
• Input of supplier invoices onto the system
• Assistance in the management of control accounts.
• Monitor and agree energy and utility contracts with suppliers.
• Undertake Bank Reconciliations and other Bank-related tasks, including setting up and making payments.
• Raise Purchase Orders.

The person

• 3-5 years of relevant Accounting experience
• Part qualified ACCA or CIMA
• Experience in SAP
• Experience in month end
• Very strong Excel and analytical skills required

The benefits

£30,000 - £45,000 pa
