The company

Brewster Partners are seeking an Accounts Assistant to help support with general support across the finance team but predominantly focusing on working through the debtors list. This role will start on as a temporary contract with a view to go permanent. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a fast growing company with a fun working environment. They are located within the Barnsley town centre with easy transport links.

The job

  • Working through the debtors list
  • Processing invoices to customers to meet the deadlines
  • Allocating reprocessed accounts
  • Send out some statements once ledger has been reviewed
  • General housekeeping across the ledgers requiring manual allocation
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Supporting the finance team with general duties

The person

  • Must have Sage 50 experience
  • Excellent IT and Excel skills to an advanced level
  • Manage workload and prioritise
  • Proactive and conscientious approach to work
  • Be versatile, flexible, professional and reliable
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well as a team
