The company

Brewster Partners are delighted to be recruiting for a Scheduling Team Leader. You will be responsible for supervising fifteen staff to ensure strict business targets are met including compliance based service and repair visits and install productivity numbers. Providing daily updates to the business and successful WIP and order book management to maximise install revenue alongside providing the highest level of Customer Service to our client base.

The job

  • Ensure team productivity to hit daily, weekly, monthly business targets
  • Carry out weekly order book reviews with the team
  • Carry out daily meetings with the team to discuss stats and workload
  • Monitor and manage team telephone stats/critique and coach team on call methods with Team Manager.
  • Monitor and manage scheduling planning to ensure maximum productivity
  • Carry out monthly one to ones
  • Recruitment and training of new staff
  • Disciplinary and performance management
  • Provide daily statistical updates to the business including productivity and backlog
  • Point of escalation for complaints
  • One on One coaching of the team
  • Identify and implement key changes and areas for process improvement via senior management meetings, appraisals, one to one coaching sessions and daily team ‘buzz’ meetings
  • Working with Field Managers to improve engineer travel times, first time fix, time to fix, reduced repeat visits, reduced overtime and improve overall customer experience along with managing strict customer and business KPI and SLA targets.
  • Identify, co-ordinate and deliver training requirements within department. Reduce any single point of failure
  • Review and align departmental budgets
  • Investigate and resolve escalated customer complaints
  • Implementing and maintaining improved methods of scheduling, planning and customer communication across both teams

The person

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to identify areas of improvement and implement change
  • Exceptional motivational skills
  • Proactive, results orientated and driven
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications (specifically EXCEL)
  • Flexible approach to working hours
  • Educated to at least GCSE level, with 3 x A-C passes, 2 of which are in Maths and English.
  • Previous experience in a team leader/management role
