The company

Brewster Partners have an excellent opportunity for a Warehouse Manager. You’ll oversee all warehouse partners that you bring on, driving growth in revenue, margin, and increasing customer satisfaction. You will be accountable for all warehouses throughout the UK, responsible for the continuous process improvement of each warehouse, increasing efficiencies and quality of service. The Warehousing Manager is an operational role that is client facing with a nod to sales.

The job

Duties will include:

  • Pro-actively identify and generate leads using multiple channels to actively build your pipeline of potential warehouse partners to match our growth.
  • Manage the warehouse relationships and their teams to ensure the smooth running of the daily operation.
  • Support warehouse partners with forecasting volume and subsequent workload and manpower to ensure targets and SLAs are met
  • Monitor, analyse and report on statistical information for the warehouse operation.
  • Exceeding monthly targets and gross profit quota by identifying and executing new processes and procedure to drive up productivity and drive down costs.
  • Be responsible for the inventory management, analyse and manage stock control and checks to enforce stock loss prevention strategies
  • Ensure all processes remain compliant with Health & Safety and other governmental regulations.
  • Develop robust relationships with key stakeholders and senior leadership, and identify opportunity to improve the warehousing productivity. You will command a strong senior presence and build a team of high performing Operations Managers.
  • Work alongside your counterparts in the commercial division to support them bringing on new customers.
  • Work with the executive team to provide solutions to onboard large customers with complicated requirements
  • Build trust, value others, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the customer, solve problems creatively, collaborate with others, and demonstrate high integrity.
  • Manage a budget and planning thereof.

The person

Skills and experience required:                                 

  • Adaptable and comfortable in a start-up environment
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a senior leadership position within a warehousing environment
  • Operational experience managing large teams across multi sites
  • Demonstrable experience in achieving multiple KPI’s / SLA’s
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to explain complex business and technical concepts to broad audiences in an approachable way
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft
  • Full UK drivers licence
