The company

Brewster Partners are delighted to be recruiting for an Area Sales Manager. The successful candidate must have experience of the construction industry and be used to selling a specified product. Skilled in presenting to engineers and consultants - be used to managing and developing his own “pipeline” of orders - be used to working with agents and distributors and direct selling to contractors.

The job

  • To create, deliver and review value adding, consultative, sales proposals to prospective customers
  • Develop robust strategy to achieve agreed & measurable KPI’s relating to pipeline development and new business acquisition
  • Research prospective accounts in target markets, pursue leads and follow through to a successful agreement
  • Understand the target markets, including industries, companies, processes, contacts and which market strategies can be used to attract these clients
  • Possess a strong understanding of our products, our competition in the industry and positioning
  • Follow the latest industry developments and stay up-to-date on corporate competitors
  • Generate and qualify leads from a variety of sources
  • Live pipeline management – Build sales pipeline, develop and implement sales activity plans across the month and year
  • Prepare and deliver regular sales reports and management information as required
  • Participate in sales/ business meetings, corporate events and campaigns as required
  • Presenting to engineers and consultants

The person

  • Proven track record of winning new business in a competitive environment
  • Negotiation with Customers and Suppliers
  • Accurate business forecasting
  • Solid Commercial knowledge (deal making) and experience of added value sales in the marketplace in the UK
  • Effective communicator & inspiring presenter
  • Excellent organisational skills with emphasis on priorities and goal setting
  • Proficient problem-solving abilities
  • We are looking for someone independent who can organise their own virtual meetings & follow the full 360 sales process

The benefits

£40,000 - £44,000 pa + car allowance & uncapped commission
