The company

Brewster Partners are delighted to be recruiting for a Outbound Sales Executive for a family run Steel Stockholding company. The clients selling to are all business customers that use steel tubes and plates for construction and general engineering applications.

The job

  • Researching the internet for potential contacts / customers.
  • Taking incoming calls and emails and responding accordingly.
  • Outbound sales
  • Proactively chasing new leads
  • Supporting existing clients with any new business enquiries
  • Working towards set KPI's and targets
  • Contacting clients via telephone and email
  • Converting warm leads into sales through a direct sales approach.
  • Creating your own sales opportunities: cold canvassing in businesses and in residential areas.
  • Building a portfolio of long-term relationships with your customers and generating referrals from existing clientele.

The person

  • At least one year of sales experience
  • Excellent and demonstrable sales record
  • Be comfortable generating net new opportunities via cold calling, LinkedIn etc
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • High standard of written English and presentation skills
  • Have the maturity and gravitas to deal with and influence senior decision makers
