The company

Brewster Partners Temporary Division (Accountancy & Finance) are currently looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Supervisor to join a busy finance team following a period of significant growth.  A well known business in the area, the company is easily accessible from Doncaster, Sheffield, Rotherham and the A1 motorway and boasts bright, spacious offices with free on-site parking.

The job

Reporting directly into the Group Finance Manager, key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the purchase ledger team to ensure completion of all tasks to tight deadlines
  • Matching, batching and scanning invoices
  • Processing supplier payments to agreed terms
  • High levels of reconciliation work
  • Assisting with external reporting
  • Dealing with queries to ensure successful outcomes 
  • Liaising with auditors and
  • Ad hoc project work as required

The person

  • A strong communicator with a proven background in purchase ledger
  • Be a team player with the motivation to meet tight deadlines
  • Previous team management experience
  • AAT qualified / part-qualified an advantage but not essential
  • Highly IT literate - to include intermediate excel
