Brewster Partners Charity and Not for Profit are currently recruiting for a Trainer Assessor within a Charity organisation for their services in York.
This role is working with individuals with lived experience within the justice system whilst working towards their Level 3 Certificate in Advice and Guidance.
You will also provide peer advisor recruitment and support, training and assessing, voluntary placement development, quality assurance whilst reporting on KPI’s. As well as this you will work with external partner organisations to identify and engage learners with the relevant skills, motivation and aptitude.
You will also Interview applicants, complete assessment paperwork, assess learning and other needs, taking into account support issues and experience; and carry out risk assessments, as well as planning and delivering a training program.
This role will suit someone who has experience of working with non-conventional learners, and experience of delivering training to adults facing disadvantage and ability to support people who have multiple and complex needs.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to support and motivate learners with complex needs, whilst being adaptable to different needs of the individual. It would be advantageous to possess a Level 3 Advice & Guidance qualification, or a qualification such as PTTLS.
