The company

Brewster Partners Charity & Not-for-Profit are currently recruiting for a Research and Evaluation Manager for a charity on a part time basis, between one – two days.

The job

This is a part time, permanent role, which can be done on a remote basis, with very occasional travel to London.

As the Research and Evaluation Manager, you will look to drive forward the charity’s evaluation activities, whilst reporting to the board, as well as sitting on the Senior Management Team.

Within this role you will:

  • Design, implement, and report on evaluation projects and generate data insights to guide the charities work
  • Collect insights to drive improvement of the internal processes
  • Survey stakeholders participating in the charity’s activities; including survey design, data collection, quality control, and reporting on data analysis
  • Monitor emerging research in fields related to the charities work, including but not limited to relationship violence, violence against woman and girls, youth development and developments in PHSE and relationship education
  • Work with the charity’s board to monitor performance against key indicators and set future targets

The person

You will have previously worked in a similar capacity, and be passionate in wanting to work within a charity who work in helping prevent domestic violence and abuse.

As well as this you will possess:

  • Proven track record in a role focused on research and evaluation; experience designing and implementing research activities using a variety of methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail, with the ability to present findings clearly, succinctly and in an engaging manner
  • Excellent data management skills; experience organising and analysing quantitative and qualitative data sets
  • Knowledge of the VAWG sector, Education sector or working with young people would be advantageous
  • Commitment to young people, as well as an appreciation as to why relationship education is important
