Procurement and Contracts Manager
Brewster Partners Charity and Not for Profit are recruiting for a Finance and Procurement Manager for a great charity within Pontefract. This is a permanent position with the option of being part time.
The focus of this role is to provide cost-effective procurement and contract management service in order to maximise on-going efficiencies, which will feed into the budget of the trust. As well as this you will be involved with contract negotiation with suppliers, whilst ensuring of conducting benchmarking activities.
You will also lead the development and implementation of the client’s procurement systems, as well as managing procurement processes; end to end procurement from tender inception to contract award.
You may be required to budget forecasts for future spend, whilst ensuring this is aligned to the strategy of the client, offering potential savings where you can.
This role will suit someone with similar experience previously, and is confident with budgets, forecasts and other financial duties. You will have experience of undertaking market analysis of spend, markets, supplier trends and capabilities.
You will also have a good understanding of European Union Procurement Directives, as well as being confident in regards to contract negotiation and discussing opportunities with new potential suppliers.
It would be desirable to possess a CIPS qualification, but this is not essential.
This role is a permanent role, offering hybrid working, and paying between £32,000 - £34,500
