The company

Brewster Partners Charity and Not for Profit are currently recruiting for a full time PR Officer for a national charity. This role can be based in London or Bristol.

The job

This is a full time, 35 hour per week role

Within this role you will shape and deliver highly effective media strategies that put the client at the heart of the housing debate, focal point for engaging the media, you will write effective media releases, create engaging social media content, develop and sell strong story ideas that support the clients policy and lobbying work.

As well as this you will identify stories and issues and develop and implement appropriate media strategies, whilst ensuring that media is fully integrated with all other communications channels, and that these channels are managed effectively.

Hybrid working opportunities will also be considered for the position.

The person

You will have experience in working in a similar role previously, as well as possessing knowledge and experience of working with media, and being able to form relationships within this field. You will also have experience of developing effective media plans, as well as being adept at capturing audience attention.

It would be beneficial to have experience of operating in a social or political landscape, as well as possessing knowledge of managing social media channels, and handling crisis communications situations.
