Purchase Ledger Clerk
The company
Brewster Partners are currently supporting a highly successful technology company based in Nottingham who are looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk to their growing finance team. The role is an exciting opportunity to be part of a business who take pride in their company values and culture. We are looking for individuals with prior experience in finance specifically.
The job
This role will be working within an environment fit for someone who is looking to excel in the workplace, putting their current experience to effective use.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Raising and coding of purchase orders
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Perform month end payment runs
- Transfer of invoices and raised credits onto relevant finance systems
- Adhere to month end procedures and management of relevant ledgers (E.G deal with debit balances, review purchase ledger)
- Resolve any incoming queries
- Deal with the creation of new supplier account & management of existing ones
- Uphold well-formed relationships with suppliers
The person
- Previous experience in a finance setting is required (minimum 2 years)
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Good IT skills
- Ability to meet changing requirements
