Brewster Partners are currently working with a highly successful manufacturing business based in the Sheffield area who have an opening for a Finance Clerk. The role is an excellent opportunity within a consumer focused environment and would be a good suit for someone finance focused.

The job

The Finance Clerk role will require the applicant to perform a variety of functions within the finance department, primarily within purchase ledger and quotations. A strong knowledge of IT systems, specifically Microsoft Excel, will be advantageous alongside good organisation and key eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Processing purchase invoices
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Expenses
  • Managing relevant inboxes
  • Dealing with supplier statements
  • Preparing quotations, including answering related queries

The person

The Ideal candidate will be an organised individual, with an interest in finance and a desire to put skills to good use. A good level of numeracy alongside IT knowledge and the capacity to expand this further is a key attitude for success in the role.
