The company

Brewster Partners are working with a £100 million turnover business on a role opening for a finance assistant. With multiple sites across the UK, the role will based in Doncaster and is a brilliant opportunity to integrate into a business that currently employs over 500 staff.

The job

This role is looking for a candidate with a desire to develop their career in finance by challenging themselves in a fast paced environment. An enthusiastic and committed attitude are essential to success, as well as the ability to work well in a team and thus having excellent communication skills will further aid in a highly enriching experience. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with receipts for purchase and other banking related transactions
  • Cash reconciliations and performing daily cash-ups
  • Maintenance and regular update of book related transactions
  • Reconciling company bank statements to cash books and resolving any discrepancies
  • Accuracy checking of all relevant balance sheets
  • Liaising with other relevant business areas to provide the required support
  • Ensure all information processed is in line with GDPR and data protection standards at all times

The person

  • Full AAT/CIMA qualification or studying towards full certification
  • Prior experience of working with transactions data/ cashing up and working with excel
  • Proficient skills with excel and sage are advantageous
