Income Housing Officer
Brewster Partners Charity & Not for Profit are currently recruiting for an Income Housing Officer for a Housing charity client. Based in the Leeds. This is a permanent full time role, with the option of part time.
This role will require you support the crucial function of the rental income team, by apportioning and reconciling tenant income payments and refunds to the tenants rent accounts on a daily basis. You will also ensure new tenants are set up correctly on the CRM system and managing these for the lifecycle of their tenancy.
As well as this you will require you to take ownership of unreconciled payments that need further investigation, maintaining database of landlord portals as well as actively chasing any outstanding invoices.
You will also look to discuss payments with external partners when required. This role could be done on a part time basis of up to 30 hours.
The successful person will have experience within a similar role previously, and will suit someone who has experience of completing bank reconciliations. You will ideally have an understanding of rent collection or the social housing sector.
You will be adept in providing support to people over the phone, as well as being meticulous when it comes to ensuring of payments from clients and supporters. You will be adept with all aspects of Microsoft Office, and be a confident communicator.
This role offers a salary of between £19,000 - £21,000 as well as above industry benefits. This role also offers the option of part time hours of up to 30 hours.
