Business and Operations Partner
Brewster Partners Charity and Not for Profit are recruiting for a Business and Operations Partner for a non-profit organisation based in Lincoln. This role is working 41 weeks of the year and is a permanent position.
The focus of this role is to undertake a range of day-to-day operational duties which influence the running of the school. You will be Responsible for the planning, development, and delivery of the support function of the operations, including financial elements of transactional finance.
You will also Line manage other support staff, including administrators, site staff and catering teams. As well as this you will review the management accounts prepared by the central finance team and providing explanations as required for variances to budget.
This role will also require you to manage the procurement process, including securing appropriate service contracts, licenses, and insurance, all of which are in line with the objectives of the organisation. As well as maintaining staff personnel files and ensuring compliance with all staff members.
The ideal person would have previously held this position or similar. It would be advantageous if you have started an accounting qualification or AAT.
You will possess a sound understanding of transactional finance, and will be able to explain this to non-financial professionals. You will also be confident in clarifying detail where appropriate and escalating issues when necessary.
It would be beneficial to have previously worked within an education setting, but this isn’t essential.
This role is working 41 weeks of the year, and is a permanent position. The salary on offer is between £28000 - £32000 FTE, equating to £25000 - £28900 FTE, along with other company benefits.
