The company

Brewster Partners are delighted to be recruiting for a company of choice in Wakefield for a Senior Recruitment Partner.  This is an in-house role and has arisen due to exceptional growth. The client is flexible with the chosen candidate doing a hybrid role so working from home is an option. 

You will be responsible for all internal recruitment processes. You will build robust relationships across stakeholders and external partners, whilst structuring end-to-end recruitment cycles for every role.

You will manage all “360 recruitment” activities, from the initial requirement briefing, undertaking marketing, sourcing, screening and shortlisting, right through to negotiating offers with successful senior candidates; all whilst maintaining a high standard of candidate and stakeholder experience. Working effectively with stakeholders, balancing issues such as speed, cost, and diversity in formulating the best recruitment approach that suits the needs of the business and the candidate.

The job

  • Ensuring appropriate levels of sign off prior to commencing job search and recruitment processes
  • Proactively sourcing candidates via multi-media advertising, referrals, internal and external networking, to effectively contribute to the target of direct recruitment
  • Build and maintain Resource Solutions candidate database by building up “talentpools”
  • Develop sourcing strategies for pipeline requirement
  • Engage with Hiring Managers to run a seamless recruitment process
  • Telephone screen candidates to assess competencies, skills and experience as part of the qualification process, where appropriate
  • Act as the conduit between the hiring manager when external agencies have been engaged
  • Manage the offer process, including providing up-to-date salary / rate and market information and comparison data from recent hires in the business area and successful transition from offer stage to start date
  • Provide strategic partnership with other members of the people team and key stakeholders, ensuring they are kept abreast of all recruitment developments and to understand their stakeholders recruitment needs – forecasting where possible
  • Project work and reporting, , on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
  • Partner in recruitment activity and offer added value services across all areas of the business
  • Regularly meet with line managers to discuss process and promote direct sourcing as both a cost saving initiative and value-added service of Resource Solutions
  • Build and maintain internal relationships
  • Provide credible and consultative advice and support during the entire recruitment life cycle
  • Provide regular market information from both internal and external sources
  • Assist in writing approved jobs specs in line with legislative requirements where require
  • Assist the Head of Function to build strategic approaches to talent management and recruitment practices, identifying opportunities for improvements where possible
  • Constantly reviewing the candidate journey, making recommendations based on external/ internal markets, themes and trends, attracting the right person for the right role

The person

  • Previous recruitment experience
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
  • Ability to effectively plan, organise and manage own workload while working to strict deadlines
  • Proven experience of internal recruitment
  • Flexibility to adapt and support other recruitment business needs when required
  • Exposure to fast paced dynamic environments
  • Embrace change and are passionate about working in a dynamic environment
