The company

Brewster Partners are working with a leading business in Barnsley in their search for an experienced Senior HR Business Partner. My client has experienced substantial growth and need a Senior HRBP to lead a team of two HR Advisors and Administrator. My client is looking for candidates with strong ER / case management experience and exposure to managing cultural change is a distinct advantage.                                                                                                                                                                                                                    

The job

As the Senior Business Partner,  you will work closely to implement and drive the business objectives from a people perspective, by developing effective relationships with key stakeholders and analysing data and metrics to inform and drive decision making and successful evident change.

Duties & Responsibilities include:

  • Influencing and building relationships with all stakeholders across the business
  • Providing expert HR advice and guidance to stakeholders on HR matters whilst supporting with complex casework, performance, attendance, and employee relations issues
  • Identifying HR priorities from business objectives and departmental plans, translating requirements into effective HR practices and delivering people solutions that are aligned to the overall business objectives
  • Delivering key HR initiatives, including workforce planning, organisational design, pay and reward, employee engagement and performance management
  • Effectively undertaking projects or activity that supports the delivery of the people strategies and objectives; working with the Head of People to ensure that services meet business needs and are delivered efficiently and promptly
  • Analysing and reporting HR information to support with the development of people strategies and solutions. Ensuring that all internal and external reporting requirements are satisfied through the provision of management information
  • Maintaining a clear understanding and providing up to date knowledge of the legal framework within which HR operates, developing HR policies in line with current legislation whilst informing of best practice within the industry
  • Effective management of People Advisors, ensuring that the people team provide an efficient service to all stakeholders that supports colleagues and the needs of the business

The person

CIPD qualified
Previous HRBP experience
Ability to effectively plan, organise and manage own workload while working to strict deadlines
Experience of Employee Relations, especially case management, and are comfortable being the escalation point
Experience of working with stakeholders and managers across multiple sites to provide expert advice and challenge the status quo
Experience of developing strong business partnerships with colleagues and managers
Proficient in Microsoft packages
