Brewster Partners are delighted to be recruiting for a business in Rotherham (Hellaby) to recruit a Customer Service Manager. This role is pivotal to my clients success and the delivery of first class customer service. 

The job

  • To manage a Customer Service team 
  • Ensuring the Customer Service team work in accordance with the given target and to give support to manager and executives to optimise their effectiveness.
  • To supervise, motivate and coordinate the Customer Service Team’s productivity to achieve KPI’s set by the business and ensure that the customer service for all accounts serviced from the UK is maintained 
  • To continuously, improve performance, processes and the productivity of the team
  • To facilitate the delivery of all team members responsibilities through operational support
  • Facilitate customer resolution for escalated calls, following up with dissatisfied customers to ensure issues are resolved and the customer satisfied
  • To improve productivity by highlighting areas for improvement, recommending and implementing change
  • Motivate a team of Customer Service Support through performance management, career planning and objective/KPI setting
  • To authorise holiday, arrange appropriate cover for the team when needed
  • To conduct performance reviews and record, evaluate training and development needs for the department 
  • Assist in the recruitment and interviewing of new team members
  • Responsible for ensuring all members of the department adhere to company policies and procedures  
  • To establish, lead and develop the appropriate channels of communication with external customers written and telephone contact
  • Ensure a positive and professional image of the business is presented at all times 
  • To develop KPI to improve the departments performance and report results with recommendations

The person

  • Previous Customer Service Management experience in essential
  • Business to business Customer Service experience is desirable
  • A pro-active approach is essential - my client is looking for a candidate who will positively make changes to existing processes and policies to ensure a first class customer experience is achieved 
  • Strong IT skills are essential
