Brewster Partners is excited to be recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Supervisor to join a stable, growing business at their head office based in Doncaster. The successful candidate will oversee the day to day running of the Purchase Ledger department, and ensure the ledgers are well maintained. The role would suit someone who has extensive purchase ledger experience along with management experience, and is a resilient character with strong communication skills.

The job

  • Setting and monitoring KPIs to drive continuous improvement
  • Managing a small purchase ledger team
  • Reporting on team performance
  • Ensuring invoices are processed in a timely manner and paid
  • Prepare monthly EC purchase listing
  • Preparing monthly CIS return
  • Review weekly payment runs
  • Ensure staff expenses are paid
  • Support the team in dealing with any problematic accounts 

The person

  • Extensive purchase ledger experience
  • Not afraid to get stuck in and hands on
  • Resilient and level headed
  • Experience of leading a small team
  • Experience of an ERP system would be an advantage, but is not essential
  • AAT qualified would be an advantage, but is not essential
