The company

Brewster Partners is excited to be recruiting for a fantastic local training provider, who are looking for a Payroll Officer to join their existing HR team. The role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has a couple of years of payroll experience but is looking to further their career, as it offers great potential to learn from more experienced staff, develop your skills and build a long term career and your own payroll function.

The job

  • End to end payroll processing
  • Monthly payroll for around 230 staff
  • Processing HMRC submissions
  • Preparing sickness and absence reports
  • Working closely with the HR team
  • Working with senior payroll and HR to administer the company pension scheme

The person

  • 1 - 2 years of experience in a payroll position
  • Sage payroll experience would be an advantage, but is not essential
  • Strong IT skills to include payroll software
  • Comfortable working on own autonomy
  • A strong communicator
  • Someone who is driven to grow and progress their career within payroll
