 Brewster Partners are working exclusively with a B2B business, looking for a SEO/PPC executive.

The job

A role has opened up in the marketing team for an enthusiastic and self-motivated SEO & PPC executive who can work with the marketing manager to plan and implement strategy and set up a process of continuous improvement across paid and organic search.

With an ever-expanding product portfolio and six websites they hope that by bringing their SEO and PPC management in-house they can improve their visibility, ultimately helping them reach their longer-term business goals 

The main responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking an initial and thorough SEO & PPC audit with an ongoing requirement to update stakeholders at all levels on a monthly basis
  • Conducting competitor research into paid advertising and keywords
  • Create and deliver an aligned strategy for PPC & SEO, with a commitment to regularly reviewing the performance
  • Analysing and improving both on-site and off-site SEO for six websites
  • Monthly business wide reporting on current positioning and planned improvements to address key business objectives
  • Balancing training and development time with workload, to keep up to date with industry changes while keeping on top of campaigns
  • Working alongside the marketing manager and development team to influence the website experience and on-page performance
  • Evaluating our customer’s user experience and reporting findings
  • Please note: This role will be responsible for both strategy and implementation and as such will bring all responsibility in-house with no agency support planned but opportunities to build the team as the role naturally expands.

The person

Experience and essential skills:

  • A degree in a related field and a minimum of two years experience, OR
  • A minimum of five years experience in a similar role
  • A good knowledge of essential tools, including but not limited to: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEM Rush, Site Bulb and Screaming Frog
  • Demonstrable experience of creating effective PPC campaigns
  • An up-to-date understanding of managing and resolving issues impacting on SEO as well as developing an ongoing SEO strategy
  • Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders at all business levels

Would be beneficial:

  • Experience in an ecommerce environment
  • Knowledge of digital marketing best practices
  • Understanding of UX and/or CRO
  • Desire to progress within an SME and help shape the in-house team
