Network Administrator

Brewster Partners are working with a leading retail company based in Manchester. We are supporting with a Network Administrator role.

This role will provide support for their head office and 13 other sites across the UK

The job

Running ICT Services for Head office and 13 UK depots

• This service is responsible for providing 3rd line technical support, Windows Systems based operating systems implementation of and adherence to security policy, system availability.
• Working as part of the Infrastructure & Operations Team this role will have responsibility for ensuring all Infrastructure and Processing Services responsibilities are met for LWC supported Servers.
• The role requires in depth practical knowledge of a wide range of Infrastructure & Back Office products.
• This role also involves offering advice and guidance to the customer and liaising with 3rd parties on support issues where appropriate.
• Routine tasks need to be completed with limited supervision.
• Project management, process of leading the work of a team to achieve all project goals within the given constraint. Handling, reviewing and implementing solutions to problems with the IT team. Managing the experimental phase and then allocating this to 2nd and 1st line IT Administrators for additional support
• The role will report to the IT Operations Team leader
• Out of hours support (Rota) 

 

The person

This is a company with a great family feel and needs some one who can really hit the ground running 

Experience in Mimecast and cylance is of an advantage.
