Strategic priorities

Motor 2020 is a significant investment programme focused on supporting our existing model and building capability for the future. Motor 2020 will initially emphasise our proposition within our existing dealer distributed market before latterly evolving and extending the model by getting closer to our customers and extending our product offering where appropriate.

Phase I

Supporting the existing model and building capability for the future

Our existing dealer distributed channel currently faces an unprecedented number of changes by way of increased regulation, evolving service expectations, increased competition and new routes to market

Against this backdrop we need to ensure we protect, defend and differentiate ourselves through focusing on where we win today

Phase II

Evolving and extending the model

Changing consumer preferences risk having long term underlying implications for the motor finance market but uncertainty remains as to how this will play out As uncertainty remains around what the new market will look like, investment will be focused on creating optionality and capability to respond
